A new law regulating private education in the UAE, based on best practices in Singapore and Australia, is expected shortly, according to the Minister of Education. Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami was quoted by \'Gulf News\' as saying, \"The new law will improve private education section and regulate educational and financial aspects in private education institutions in the UAE.\" The law is likely to be endorsed this month or in early March, the paper reported. The rule eill help improve relations between the ministry, private institutions and local authorities, the minister added.
