Sources have revealed to Arab Today that the Iranian government has financed a Mauritanian satellite channel called Mahzara. The channel is allocated for the Islamic sciences and Quran recitation. The source added that the Iranian government is one of the most important financiers for the new Mauritanian satellite channel. The Islamic Broadcasting Union is also supporting the new channel.
