Minister of Information Nasr Taha Mustafa discussed here on Sunday with US ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller media cooperation relations.
They also reviewed the latest developments in the national arena and the challenges hindering the transition process during the current stage.
"There are problems deter the progress of the transition process in Yemen and the Group of ten countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative must have a clear stance on those challenges," the Minister said.
He expressed his hopes that the US and the international community continue to support Yemen during the transitional stage to complete the implementation of Gulf initiative.
Mustafa indicated to the current situation of media in Yemen and the priorities that should be focused on during the current period.
For his part, the US ambassador said that there are many areas, via which the Yemeni-US partnership can be enhanced, particularly in the field of media.
"The United States believes that this time is very important for Yemen and it is committed to partnership with Yemen in this transitional phase," Tueller said.
The ambassador stressed that the US would continue to support Yemen and work with President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, the Yemeni government and people to create a strong, prosperous and democratic Yemen.
