Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award will hold the prize-giving ceremony for the winners of (Kuwait Shift 4) competition on Monday. In a press statement, member of the organizing committee Bassam Al-Shimmari said that 30 winners will be honored in the ceremony, to be held under the patronage and with the attendance of Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah. He added that the ceremony will be also attended by Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Award Sheikha Aida Salem Al-Ali; ambassadors of Yemen and Egypt, whose citizens are among the winners; and several prominent media, press and public figures. Al-Shimmari stated that the award has attracted a considerable number of contestants this year. He noted that the award has seen significant development with the launching of its English version this year and had made stride since its inception four years ago. The award would see more improvements in 2015 edition, he said, expecting that the coming edition would cover a wide range of causes and topics.
