A Libyan court on Thursday sentenced a journalist to five years in prison over accusations of defamation.
Emara el Khetaby, editor-in-chief of the independent "Al Omma" newspaper, was accused of defamation after publishing a list of Libyan judges, accusing them of corruption and being remnants of the ousted president Muammar Gaddafi's regime.
Khetaby was also fined a sum of 250,000 Libyan dinars.
