Cairo - MENA
The Judges' Club will file complaints with the public prosecution against a number of websites that posted false financial figures and statements of salaries of judges and prosecutors.
Chairman of the club Abdallah Fat'hi dismissed as baseless the figures posted on those websites, stressing that salaries of the judges come 26th in the list of state wages.
Fat'hi, in a statement on Saturday, said he will ask the public prosecution to immediately interrogate whoever posted the false figures and statements, which, he added, are part of a Muslim Brotherhood plan to drive a wedge between the Egyptian people and many State sectors.
He urged the Egyptian people not to pay attention to the plan of the terrorist group, which is only meant to foment tension.
All State institutions should also take legal measures to counter those websites, Fat'hi stressed.
