Amman - MENA
Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communication Mohammad Momani urged media to verify the authenticity of news on Tuesday's terror attack on the Jordanian borders.
Momani, the Jordanian government spokesman, urged media to depend on official sources.
Earlier in the day, Jordan's military said that six people were killed and 14 wounded in a car bomb attack on Jordanian troops along the kingdom's border with Syria.
The attack took place in the Rukban district near a Syrian refugees camp, the Jordanian Armed Forces general command said in a statement on Tuesday.
The attack targeted a military post offering services to Syrian refugees, the statement said.
About 50,000 Syrians exist in the buffer zone on the Jordanian borders, awaiting entry into the kingdom.
