Ministry of Information Assistant Undersecretary for broadcasting Affairs and Head of Kuwaiti Delegation, Sheikh Fahad Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, praised the 13th Gulf Radio and TV Festival that has attracted Arab artists and journalists, stressing it is unique festival in the Arab region. He expressed thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for the warm hospitality, and the media efforts exerted by Bahrain media institution led by the Minister of State for Information Affairs, the government's spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab. National Media Council (NMC)'s Advisor for TV and Radio Cooperation, Abdullah Al-Junaibi, affirmed one of the main reasons for the success of the Festival is the focus on the youth that has given it a distinctive image which was evident in the modern opening ceremony. Qatar's Media Corporation Chief Executive and Head of the Qatari Delegation, Mubarak bin Jaham Al-Kuwari, said that the festival has achieved great success through the renewed and interactive edition, affirming the need to discuss the impact of new media on the youth, praising the outstanding attendance and organizational level, which will be positively reflected on the festival outcomes and success. General Director of Technical Affairs of the Saudi Television, Engineer Baddy Mohammed Al-Qahtani, praised the Festival organizational level, commending the associated sessions. Executive Director of News section at the Public Authority for Radio and Television of Sultanate of Oman and Head of Omani Delegation, Yusuf bin Abdulkarim Al-Hooti, said the festival is a quantum leap in terms of content, form and submitted work, which raised the level of competition among governmental institutions.
