The Forum of Ministers of Information and Directors of Media Corporations in the States started sessions , Sunday, at the Higher Military Academy in Omdurman.

The two-day form, which is held under the theme "Towards National Comprehensive Information Message", is sponsored by the First Vice-President of the Republic and National Prime Minister, Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih with wide participation of experts, media men and journalists.
The Forum is organized in the context of celebration of "Media's National Day", state institutions reform and implementation of recommendations of the Second Conference on Media Issues.

A number of working papers to be presented by experts and specialists in state media would reviewed during the two-day session covering issues of states media in its legal and constitutional aspects, states radios and TVs, transmission and the programs.

The participants will deliberate during the Forum sittings over situation of media in the States , challenges and the proposed solutions to develop the mass media in the states to fully carry out their role.
