The Isa Town Youth Centre organized the "sweetest painting for the homeland" contest for children from various age groups.
BNA Kids correspondents participated in coverage of the event and its activities which attracted unprecedented audience from all age groups who have in the national flag colours: white and red colour expressed the extent of their love of Bahrain.
The contest was organized on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne.
The chairman of Isa Town Youth Centre, Monther Ebrahim Mohammed, said that the contest was conceived to boost the spirit of citizenship in children through free theme drawing for all four age groups. 120 children were divided into four groups: 6-9, 10-13, 14-17, 18+ year-olds . Each participant child has expressed its own patriotic feelings through drawing and colour paintings. Face painting and henna were also part of the activities.
