Ferrari bids adieu to the 599GTB with one final special edition.Fresh off the back of announcing the 599XX Evolution, Ferrari has revealed their latest special edition for the 599 GTB.Built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Scuderia\'s maiden Formula 1 victory at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, a feat managed by Froilan Gonzalez in a 375 F1, the new Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 is based on the powerful HGTE version and customers will get to choose between three different liveries that are being produced.The 375 F1 livery, which uses the same red finish as the triumphant F1 car of 1951 and combined with darker pastel tones; and two Ferrari 150-degree Italia liveries, one of which combines the red livery of Fernando Alonso\'s Ferrari driven in July 2011 with white on the lower section of the front bumpers, mudguards, hood, A-posts and buttresses, while a tricolor will feature on the spoiler.20-inch diamond-finish forged alloys are options for all three liveries, whilethe interior has also been inspired by these two legendary race cars. European models get Sabelt belts and its US counterpart benefits from rock Recaro seating.Both versions will boast the innovative technical material known as Superfabric, common in F1 cars, while the seats are upholstered in black Alcantara and combined with four-point safety harnesses in the same red & blue configuration specified by the FIA for the 2010-11 F1 Championship. Aluminum elements highlights the rest of the interior, and the Alutex trim dashboard will feature the two drivers\' signatures.The engine has been left untouched, so the 612hp 6.0-liter V12 maintains its 0-60mph sprint time of 3.7 seconds. No price announcement has yet been made, not something that will be of concern to us mere mortals.
