Sharm el-Sheikh port has been closed due to bad weather and strong winds, the Red Sea Ports Authority announced on Friday.

In a statement, Spokesman for Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel-Rahim Mostafa said the port was closed for safety as there were high waves, heavy rains and strong winds.

He pointed out that it was closed and reopened for two times during the past 24 hours.
