Cairo - MENA
Climate change is a decisive issue as it threatens development in the world, especially in developing countries, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Environmental Affairs and Sustainable Development Mahmoud Samy said.
Speaking to MENA on the sidelines of a workshop on developing African capacities to reduce emissions, Samy said the commitment of 195 countries is needed regarding climate change.
The workshop will help African countries present their pledges and contributions regarding the issue during the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will take place in November in Paris, he said.
