The Red Sea Ports Authority has announced that it temporarily shut down three ports on the Suez Canal due to windy weather conditions in the area. The ports that were closed are Port Tawfiq for Passengers, El-zitiat for Petroleum and El-adabiya for Goods, according to Mohamed Abdel Kader, head of the Authority. It is expected that the ports will be re-opened before midnight Tuesday.
