World future energy summit to open in Abu Dhabi

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) will kick off in Abu Dhabi on January 18 under the auspices of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed ben Zayed al Nuhayyan.

The four-day event is the world’s most influential event dedicated to advancing future energy, energy efficiency and clean technology. It’s where government leaders, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and thousands of visitors come together to experience the latest developments in future energy. For the world’s energy innovators and suppliers, it’s a must-attend opportunity to network, launch, discover and build valuable new partnerships.

2015 was a record-breaking year for WFES. New exhibitors, new countries, more high-profile delegates and speakers, and more proactive opportunities to turn prospects into clients.

WFES is the unrivalled number 1 event in the Middle East and North Africa for energy, renewables and sustainability professionals.

Now in it’s 9th year, WFES has proven to be the Middle East's and Sub Saharan's annual meeting place and leading forum for energy, renewables and sustainability professionals looking to gain premium market exposure, develop new business contacts and gain first-hand knowledge on upcoming strategies, trends, solutions and regulatory changes across the energy sector.

The event is hosted and organized by Masdar (the Abu Dhabi government entity pioneering the advancement of clean energy implementation and adoption across the globe) and the centrepiece of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. World Future Energy Summit cultivates a much-needed dialogue between critical stakeholders, from Heads of States, Governments, Academia and the Business and Financial communities.

In 2015, the conference was addressed by over 150 Speakers, Heads of States and Ministers who shared their visions and discussed the most critical issues surrounding the future of energy in front of over 2,000 conference attendees from over 50 countries.
