Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker met on Tuesday with Alemayehu Tegenu, Ethiopia's Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of his participation in a COMESA meeting held in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.
The two minsters discussed ways to boost bilateral ties in the renewable energy field.
Emerging from the meeting, Shaker said the Ethiopian minister hailed Egypt's move to offer more scholarships to technical cadres at his ministry.
