Two memorandums of understanding, worth 9.4 billion dollars, were signed between Egypt, Saudi ACWA Power and UAE Masdar energy corporations.
Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al Assaf and UAE Minister of State Sultan Al Jaber witnessed the signing ceremony.
The deals came amid the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), held in the Red Sea's resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
The MoUs aim at establishing Solar, wind, and coal power plants in various places in Egypt.
