Durban - A rabstoday
The Leading Hotels of the World brand has revealed a range of exciting new developments from its two stands at INDABA 2012 in Durban. INDABA is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and one of the top three ‘must visit’ events of its kind. As the event – which runs until May 15th – enters its third day, LHW revealed it had signed up a new member - the Oyster Box just outside Durban. Constructed in 1869 and originally used as navigational beacon, a beach cottage known as the Oyster Box was converted into a hotel in the 1930’s. The Oyster Box is one of the country’s most distinguished hotels boasting spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and direct access to the beach. LHW also confirmed it has launched the Golf Society, an elite association that combines all the privileges and perks of its signature Leaders Club membership program along with a host of supplementary benefits designed for members-only at participating Leading Golf resorts. “With championship golf courses to be found all over the world, the season never ends,” explained a statement from the brand. Finally, the Leading Hotels of the World celebrates independent luxury hotels by announcing its extraordinary collaboration with the world’s top concierge teams to create Leading One-of-a-Kind packages. Each participating Leading Hotel has developed a truly memorable offer incorporating elements that cannot be found at any other hotel. Specialty suite accommodations, insider tours of the city and local cultural institutions, exceptional gastronomic experiences, rare vintage wine tastings, personal shopping experiences, behind the scenes access to venues not open to the public - these are just some of the features guests can discover with Leading One of a Kind.
