The Mandarin Oriental Paris, the latest hotel in the French capital to earn the coveted distinction of "palace," has teamed with chic British brand Paul Smith Junior to outfit its youngest guests in exclusive nightwear.
Guests who get in on the Family Travel by Paul Smith Junior offer at the Mandarin Oriental Paris, available from March 1 to August 31, 2015, will receive the appropriate items from this exclusive collection: footie pajamas for infants and two-piece sets for older kids. The package, which is priced from €2,245, also includes special gifts and dedicated services for children.
In a bid to attract families, several Parisian luxury hotels have introduced services and amenities aimed at children and their parents. Le Bristol boasts a dedicated play space where kids can have fun while their parents relax at the spa. Young guests can also take part in treasure hunts led by the hotel's mascot, a gardening rabbit named Hippolyte.
Meanwhile, Le Meurice organizes a range of kid-friendly tours and outings in the French capital. The hotel's babysitters also offer to take children to the Jardin des Tuileries, located across the street, to ride the merry-go-round or sail toy boats in the pond while their parents browse the shops.
At Le Royal Monceau, children can have fun while developing their appreciation of fine art through various activities scheduled year-round. In December, for example, the hotel proposes a Christmas workshop inspired by the work of Jeff Koons, the artist currently featured in a retrospective at the Centre Pompidou. In the guest rooms, the bed linens and bath products for children are supplied by the French brand Bonpoint.
Families staying at the Four Season Georges V enjoy a dedicated child-friendly concierge service, as well as special welcome gifts and games for children. There is also a babysitting service, afternoon snack and other activities to keep children entertained and give parents a break.
