Six Senses’ first U.S. property, and its first urban hotel, is expected to open in New York in 2019.
The Six Senses New York will be built between the High Line park and the Hudson River. The 137-room hotel will share a tower with luxury residences. Rooms will have views of the Hudson River, High Line and Manhattan skyline.
The lead developer is HFZ Capital Group, and Six Senses parent Pegasus Capital Advisors has a minority stake in the project, which will include two towers and 240 luxury residences.
Bangkok-based Six Senses operates 10 resorts and 28 spas worldwide.
