The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released a video of the best 16 space images of 2016, with Egypt's Lake Nasser coming in second place after the city of Dubai.

 

The slideshow video shows 16 pictures all taken from the space station's windows by astronauts of some of the most beautiful sites all over the world.

The video also includes Lake Urmia in Iran, Mount Fuji in Japan, Santorini Island in Greece, and Itaparica reservoir Brazil.
