Dubai - Mohamed Jamal el Majaida
Algerian Dalia Sheih got the highest percentage of votes and qualified first in singing at the end of the semi-finals of "Arabs Got Talent" on MBC 4. Only one episode remains before the end of the second season, while Moroccan dance team "LA HALA King Zoo" and the two children Nour and Kamar from Lebanon won second place for dancing. The jury's decision came in favour of "LA HALA King Zoo", leaving the two sisters Nour and Kamar along with the other five participants to say goodbye to the show. The contest heated up with Dalia Shiha (14) who marvelled the audience and the jury with her unique voice and her high musical technique. Najwa Karam called her the “best talent in the second season.”A performance by Mohamed Atta saw him imitating sounds from animals, to cars passing through machines, although judge Nasser el Qassaby was unimpressed and pressed the buzzer before the end of the performance. In playing piano, Christopher Sayegh presented short pieces in which he used high technique trying to communicate his delicate musical style. The winning team, "LA HALA King Zoo", presented a hip-hop dance number, blending western dance and rhythm with eastern melodies in a story inspired by Arab heritage to win the support of Ali Jaber whose voted favoured them at the end of the episode. Children Nour and Kamar did an artistic acrobatic dance, where they used cotton ropes to swing, earning Najwa Karam’s praise. In singing and playing, the "High On Body Fat" couple were not at the same level they showed in the first round, while the trick player Amin performed an impressive optical illusion piece. Finally, Abdul Majid Moaz from Saudi Arabia popped-and-locked, with Nasser Qassaby calling him a real dancer. The final episode of "Arabs Got Talent" will be broadcast on Friday, June 29 at 6pm GMT, 9pm KSA.
