A recent video was circulated over a number of internet social networks of Moroccan contestant of ‘Arab Idol’ Donia Batmah in which she announced that she was presented with a new Chevrolet Corvette from a wealthy fan in the United Arab Emirates. Donia had also stated that the same fan had granted her a residence visa for the UAE to be able to continue her music career. Donia had refused to reveal the identity of the fan that presented her with the gifts and stated that they were given to her to make up for the grand prize and title of ‘Arab Idol 2012’ she lost to Egyptian contestant Carmen Suleiman. Donia has already taken the first steps to fame and revealed that she signed a contract for the production of a new album and filming a music video with the production company ‘Platinum Records’.
