China's exports rose a forecast-beating 11.3 percent on-year in June, data showed Thursday, fuelling hopes of stability in the world's second-largest economy.

Imports also topped expectations, jumping 17.2 percent, the customs administration said, lifting the trade surplus to $42.76 billion.
