A suspected Palestinian gunman opened fire at Israelis near a West Bank settlement on Tuesday, police said, wounding three before being "neutralised" by security forces.

"A terrorist who reached the rear gate of Har Adar opened fire at a (security) force at the scene, there are three wounded Israelis," police said.

Medics said the gunman "has been neutralised by security forces."
