Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto

Hungary on Wednesday slammed as "irresponsible" a rejection by the EU's top court of Hungary and Slovakia's challenge to a scheme to relocate thousands of migrants around the bloc via mandatory quotas.

"The decision by the court... is irresponsible and we believe that this decision threatens the security of all of Europe," Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said in Budapest after the European Court of Justice ruling.
