Egyptian actress Yousra has said that she is still dreaming of becoming a mother; she has however rejected the idea of adoption, explaining that she feels like a mother to her friends and relatives’ children. “I dream about motherhood but I accept my fate. I don’t think about adoption even though it has been suggested to me, because I feel like a mother to my friends and relatives’ children. Sometimes I even feel that my mother is my daughter, and in a way I practice my motherhood on her,” Yousra said. When asked about her thoughts on “envy” she said: “Yes, I believe that people can envy you and I’m afraid of it. I’ve actually faced many difficult situations caused by envy, but I don’t face it by using a “blue bead” like some people tends to do; I read Quran versus instead.” The artist denied rumours that she had divorced from her husband Khaled Saleem, pointing out that she is living a happy and settled life. Yousra explained: “These types of rumors bother me as they are completely untrue. I live a happy settled life with my husband who does not like being in the spotlight. I respect his wish, and simply don’t ask him to attend every public event with me just to prove those rumours untrue, which he also doesn’t care much for.” As for being attacked in London while she was there with director Inas El Deghidi she said: “Unfortunately it is true. While Inas and I were in London attending a party celebrating the overthrowing of ex-President Hosni Mubarak, two young men started attacking us and beating us up. We later found out that they thought we were pro the Hosni regime, but the truth is we aren’t, and I was one the first few who encouraged the revolution protestors, and one of the first artists who admitted to being against Mubarak and his corrupt regime
