Egyptian singer Shireen Abd al Wahab stated that she welcomes the idea of singing in Algeria, and at the same time denied the rumors about placing impossible conditions to avoid holding concerts there. and I explained the fact that the dispute over pay 90 thousand dollars. She explained that there is a misunderstanding regarding her request to be paid an amount of 90-thousand dollars for her concert in Algeria. Shireen said, "What happened is that the person responsible for organizing concerts in Algeria, held a telephone conversation with Muhammad my brother, and was inquiring about what amound I get paid to hold concerts and my brother replied that I get 90 thousand dollars." shireen stressed that this amount is tentative and subject to negotiation at the time an agreement is reached. She added that her brother had briefly discussed with her his telephone conversation with the Algerian agent, due to the fact that she, Shireen, was filming the song “Mati’tathirsh” (Don’t Apologize) and was very occupied.
