Prominent Egyptian Hannan Turk has led a march at the Canadian University in Cairo celebrating three years of a non-smoking environment at the university. The Life without Smoking Association, which Hannan is an active member in, held a festival at the university for the occasion. The event was attended by Hannan, Captain Nader Al Sayyid and Islamic Preacher Mustafa Husni. At the festival, Hannan discussed with students the dangers of smoking and the importance of quitting to save their lives. She also gave students numerous suggestions on how to quit and refrain from smoking.
