It is clear that there are attempts to drive a wedge between Lebanese singer Haifa Wahby and her fans in Egypt against the backdrop of her clash with Egyptian producer Mohamed Al Sobky, as a number of social media activists attempt to launch false statements attributed to her to undermine her relation with the Egyptian people.
According to sources, the Lebanese singer plans currently to take the legal measures against those people who launch such false statements. They added that the singer blames the Egyptian producer for inciting those people against her.
Sources revealed that Egyptian producer Mohamed Al-Sobky promoted news that Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby is not allowed to participate in any new cinema works in Egypt, only after paying a sum of money owed him by him, in addition to compensation for three days filming of the film "one second" which the actress was supposed to participate in it.
Haifa authorized a while ago her lawyer in Egypt to follow up the case closely because what Al-Sabki referred to was just baseless allegations that he was the one who quarreled with her at the scene, and stopped the whole process as a result of a discussion that took place between both of them.
