Emirati singer Ahlam expressed her astonishment over the decision to exclude her from the TV program “The Voice” presented in “MBC” satellite channel, saying that she refuses to use such personal issue to raise political controversy.
She added, “The matter is related to artistic program and I am an artist. There are people who want to take the matter politically, while I confirm my loyalty and love to Emirates and my appreciation to ‘MBC” satellite channel.”
Sources revealed that Emirati Singer Ahlam has not withdrawn from the refereeing committee of Arab competition program “The Voice” scheduled to be presented during the coming season in MBC satellite channel.
The sources revealed that the decision to suspend the Emirati singer came after the suspension of the channel’s Director General Waleed Ibrahim in accusation of corruption. They added that the channel sent her a message to inform her that she will not remain in the program.
