Forget what else you may have heard: Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman are no longer dating. The businessman and Tiger Woods\'s ex-wife broke off their relationship in January, a friend of hers tells PEOPLE. \"She says Jamie\'s a great guy – and they\'re still friends – but I think it was just too early [after the divorce] for her to get serious with anyone,\" says her friend. There\'s no truth to reports this week that things were heating up between Nordegren and Dingman, who were first linked last summer, after they were allegedly spotted at Saturday\'s playoff hockey game between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals. In fact, she wasn\'t even there. But Nordegren takes the rumors in stride, says her friend. \"Elin finds it hilarious to read news about her that people make up,\" the friend says. Nordegren, who lives with her two children in North Palm Beach, Fla., is a part-time college student working on her psychology degree while overseeing construction of a new ocean-front home for her family.
