Syrian warplanes bombed on Thursday some positions of terror groups in the southern countryside of Aleppo, SANA quoted a military source as saying.
The air strikes resulted in killing a large number of militants and destroying armored vehicles equipped with machine guns and other military equipment, the source added.
A Syrian army unit has killed and wounded a host of militants and destroyed three tanks and five vehicles fitted with machine guns in the vicinity of Om El Qare hill in southern Aleppo, the source asserted.
Meanwhile, seven people were killed and several others injured when militants fired rocket propelled grenades into the countrysides of Aleppo and Homs.
About five people were murdered and 21 others hurt after terror groups targeted some districts in the countryside of Aleppo with rocket propelled grenades, SANA reported.
Two persons were killed and some others injured when Daesh militants launched rocket propelled grenades at a village in the countryside of Homs.
