A military source told Syrian Arab news agency that the army soldiers stormed the hideouts of the ISIL terrorists in al-Huweika, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Aridi, and al-Jbeileh in the city of Deir Ezzor.
"Most of the targeted terrorists were non-Syrian," the source said.
"Terrorists Abu Asaad al-Jaezrawi from Saudi Arabia, Abu Azzam from Iraq, Abu Jihad from Belgium and Abu Mohsen from Tunis were identified among the dead," the source added.
Syrian army also tightened its grip over the terrorists in the outskirts of al-Tim oil field in the Northeastern areas of the province.
