The Syrian army air force on Wednesday carried out sorties against gatherings and positions of Daesh and Jabhat al Nusra in the eastern and northern countryside of Homs central province.
A military source told the Syrian news agency SANA that the army’s air force carried out intensive strikes against dens and positions of Daesh terrorists to the northeast of Palmyra City and to the north of the silos area and al Shaer oil field in Palmyra countryside.
The source added that a number of the Daesh terrorists were killed in the strikes and others were injured and a number of their vehicles and dens were destroyed.
