Syrian Air Force continued operations against terrorist organizations in provinces across the country, targeting the terrorists’ positions and vehicles in some areas and foiling their attacks and infiltration attempts in others.
The Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles and positions for ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of al-Shaer field and in Rahoum, Um al-Reesh and to the north of Abu al-Alaya in the eastern countryside of Homs province, according to a military source.
In the southern province of Sweida, an army unit thwarted an attempt by ISIS terrorist group to infiltrate from al-Ghbeib valley towards Tal Bouthaina (hill) in the northeastern countryside of the province, leaving the group’s members dead or wounded.
Army units killed a number of “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists, including a Jabhat al-Nusra leader who is named Mehdi al-Abed, and destroyed four vehicles and a pickup car in al-Latamina, Mourek and Kafar Zita in the northern countryside of Hama province.
