Over 20 airstrikes were launched on the eastern districts of Aleppo Thursday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.
The air raids have reportedly left several people killed and wounded.
Syrian troops, meanwhile, took control of al Bureij hills in Syria after clashes with opposition fighters.
Earlier in the day, the observatory said 82 people were killed in the past 48 hours in several districts in Aleppo following airstrikes by Russian and Syrian warplanes.
More than 250,000 civilians are believed to be trapped inside the besieged rebel-held sector of Aleppo.
