At least 72 people, including women and children, were killed by the Syrian regular forces in several parts of the country, mainly in Aleppo, on Friday, according to the opposition Local Committees (LCCs). The military attacks focused also on Idlib, Deir Al-Zor, Daraa, Hamah, Homs, Damascus and its suburbs, and Al-Reqqa, the LCCs said in separate reports reaching here. The victims include 46 in Aleppo, 25 who were executed in Al-Rashedin area as the warplanes bounded Heliseh area, and five other who were executed Barza district of Damascus. Meanwhile, fierce fighting is raging between the government forces and the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the towns of Al-Yonesiyeh, Al-Bernas and Al-Najiyeh in Jisr Al-Shughur province, Idlib Governorate. The government forces bombarded Sarmin town with artillery, tanks and missiles in a bid to quell a protest demonstration calling for toppling the regime after the Friday noon prayers, the LCCs added.
