The death toll from the twin suicide attacks that hit two security bases in Homs earlier Saturday rose to 20 people of regime forces, including a high-ranking officer, sources with the Syrian rebels said.
Security has been beefed up in Homs following the attacks in a bid to avert similar attacks to take place, al Arabiya al Hadath channel reported.
Earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that 15 people, including a brigadier, were killed in the attacks that targeted security and military bases in Ghouta neighborhood, central Homs city.
