The Aleppo Civil Defense said on Saturday that at least six people were killed while 12 other injured in air raids that targeted people while trying to escape battles raging in the Syrian city of Aleppo, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.
In statements to the TV channel, head of the Civil Defense's media office Ibrahim Abou al-Layth said Russian warplanes launch attacks on people heading to the western part of Aleppo.
He described the situation in Aleppo as 'catastrophic', saying the regime forces are making more progress into the city.
The city has been under siege for more than 100 days as no humanitarian aid allowed into Aleppo, Abou al-Layth said.
