Eight civilians were killed while dozens others injured in air raids that targeted al Sukari district in eastern Aleppo, Sky News quoted Syrian activists as saying on Sunday.
The new deaths come as Russian warplanes continue for the 18th consecutive day shelling al Firdaws district and other areas in the city.
As many as 24 civilians were killed in the past 24 hours by Syrian and Russian air raids.
The United Nations said that more than 31,000 people fled their homes for areas held by the Syrian regime and Kurdish forces or other remote areas after clashes had recently erupted in northeastern Aleppo.
