At least 30 militants of Daesh group were killed in fierce clashes with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the northern Rif al Reqqa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Monday.
The Syrian Democratic Forces took control of the town of Hazima in the northern Rif al Reqqa and started a combing operation to expel Daesh elements, the London-based SOHR added.
In Rif Daraa, four extremist opposition militants were killed in a rocket attack by regime troops, the observatory noted.
Extremist opposition factions withdrew from villages they had controlled to nearby town in the northern Rif Hama, it said.
