The Local Coordination Committees of Syria said 129 people, including 22 children and 19 women, were killed on Wednesday in shelling and clashes across the country, mostly in Aleppo.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Thursday that there are continued shelling and clashes between regime forces and armed opposition in Damascus' eastern and western Ghouta, Rif Deraa, Hama, Idlib and Latakia.
The Turkey-backed Syrian opposition took over Doweiba village in Rif Aleppo, the observatory said.
Fierce clashes erupted between regime and rebel forces at the entrance of Ehtmaliyat town from which the rebels withdrew only hours after controlling it.
Syria has been engulfed in deadly civil war since 2011, with the government fighting a number of rebel groups, leaving behind more than 400,000 deaths.
