UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday repeated his call for a halt to hostilities in Libya, demanding an "immediate, verifiable ceasefire." Speaking in Geneva, Ban said he had spoken late Tuesday to Libyan Prime Minister Baghdadi Mahmudi, demanding that Libyan armed forces stop attacking civilians, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
