The UN Security Council voted unanimously Monday to call on Libya''s transitional government to take measures to eliminate large weapons stockpiles accumulated by former leader Muammar Gaddafi. The adopted resolution asked new authorities in Libya to take "all necessary steps to prevent the proliferation of all arms and related materiel of all types."
