US-led coalition warplanes shelled a number of Daesh positions south of Fallujah city and northwestern Ramadi city of Anbar province.
The Iraqi forces also killed Daesh suicide bombers who were riding motorcycles in northwestern Fallujah, a military source at Anbar Operations Command said on Friday.
The air raids also killed dozens of Daesh militants including eight snipers, the source said, adding that Iraqi forces continue efforts to restore Fallujah from Daesh by defusing bombs planted earlier by the terrorist group in the area.
Meanwhile, a Daesh leader and three of his aides were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire at them in Mosul city, local sources said.
