Scores of Iraqi people marched Friday to Tahrir Square in Baghdad in protest at the deployment of Turkish troops in northern Iraq.
Few numbers rallied in the cities of Basra, Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar and Babel amid tight security measures.
The protestors called for an immediate withdrawal of the Turkish troops and urged the government to carry out reforms and combat corruption.
They urged Iraqi prime minister Haidar Abadi to respond to the Turkish violations.
The Turkish troops arrived on December 3 with tanks and armored personnel carriers at a camp in a territory held by Iraqi Kurds near the Daesh-held northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
