As many as 2,277 displaced Iraqis returned home after it was liberated from the terrorist Daesh group's grip.
Iraqi Immigration Minister Gasem Mohammed, in statements on Tuesday, said the displaced were relocated from the camps, in cooperation with the ministry of transport, to their homes in eastern and southern Mosul, western Ninawa, Salah El Din governorates.
Up to 18,748 displaced people returned to their homes since the Ninawa liberation operation started, he added.
