Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi announced the completion of the first and second phases of Fallujah's "Liberation Operation" successfully.
During a meeting Wednesday at the command HQ of the operation, Abadi said that beating the terrorist group of Daesh has become a fact on the ground and that the world has been admiring the Iraqi forces' victories against the group.
The Iraqi fighters represented the unity of Iraqis in their defense of their nation and land, he said.
The Iraqi joint operation command briefed Abadi on the latest on-field developments in Fallujah and the freeing of 27 towns and villages from the control of Daesh in the second phase of the offensive.
The third phase known as "Operation Breaking Terrorism" started on May 23 and aims to clear the whole city of Deash militants.
