Iraqi forces, backed by the US-led coalition aircraft, killed on Sunday 14 Daesh fighters in different parts of Anbar, Salahuddin and Nineveh provinces.
Five were killed in the military operation staged by Baghdad Operations Command forces in Al Karmah district of Fallujah city in Anbar province.
Also, a motorcycle and a hotbed were destroyed in the operation.
The Baghdad forces wrecked a vehicle equipped with a machine gun.
The US-led coalition aircraft launched 18 airstrikes in different parts of Anbar and Salahuddin provinces, killing eight Daesh elements and devastating a number of vehicles and hideouts, the Iraqi Defense Ministry said in a statement.
